CUP’s Distinguished Leadership Series (DLS) is a unique public affairs forum featuring local, national and global leaders in conversation with CUP Members at 15 events annually on topics ranging across politics, the economy, culture and society. Members of CUP engage in active dialogue about the most challenging issues facing urban professionals and their communities. Former speakers have included: Governor David Paterson, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Essence Communications Founder Ed Lewis, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and many other luminaries. Attendance at DLS events is open to the public, with discounted rates available only to CUP Members.
